Seek Him, Reach Out & Find Him!!

Good morning, sweet friends!

If you have heard me speak, and you are reading along in Chapter 17 then you probably know exactly where I am headed today:) However, I don’t want to make light of what also speaks to me as I read through Acts and the mission of these men, and perhaps you feel the same?? For me, I have just stood in awe of the love, devotion, and passion  these disciples had for Jesus, and how they spent their lives traveling the land to spread the news of His death and resurrection! They weren’t consumed with their career or homes or food, but focused intently on making a difference for His Kingdom!!!  I know we all at times get “moved” by a cause, or find ourselves passionate about a topic or issue, but how often do we step out boldly to make it known….to see it happen or to make a difference???? I hope you look at their journey and devotion, and it moves you to step out of your comfort zone and share your story…..what has He done for you and who needs to hear it?? You too can make a difference!!!

So what spoke to me most is no surprise…….

“God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out to him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.” Acts 17:27

Yes, I was so excited when I got to verse 27, because part of my testimony is the story of me finding Him, and if you have heard me speak, you know I am passionate about this!!! I, like most women, had clung to the words of Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord

and being honest,I had made it all about me……Oh, He has great plans for me and those plans had to do with becoming a writer or a speaker or a teacher or a mom, but what I found was the greatest plan He could ever have for me was the rest of that verse…..

you will call on me and pray to me, and I will answer,
and when you seek me with your whole heart, I will be found!

After I found this verse and saw the truth of it in my life, I began searching for other verses about finding Him, so I was so very excited to add to my verses of conviction this verse on His desire for us to seek Him and find Him!!! I pray it gives you some conviction too! He is near us, and if we would reach out, we would see that He can be found!!! Remember the ultimate goal while inhabiting this earth is to love him and walk in His ways, and then He says…
I will come and make home with you!! (John 14) What greater gift than Him making home with you????  Sweet friends, I know you may be over hearing me say this, but once again…

Seek Him Passionately!!! Love Him Deeply!!! Follow Him Fearlessly!!

That is a woman living her calling:)

A little assignment for the weekend:) This is one audio from seven, but when you click on the first, you should be able to forward through to all seven, and it is about 45-60 minutes. Friends, it is life changing. It is from the book The Bema by Tim Stevenson.  You can’t wait another week to hear this message, so please listen this weekend. Those in the book of life will sit in the Bema Seat or receive the “good” judgement and the blessings for what they have done, and I promise you……… this will change you.

The Bema Judgement 1 of 7
The Bema Judgement 1 of 7

Dear Heavenly Father,

We give you thanks and praise and all of the glory for what you are doing in our lives. Give us the spirit of humility that we may receive your blessings and remain faithful to give you all the glory. Lord, we seek you and we reach out to you, and we ask that you reveal yourself to us in a fresh way. We seek your face and your presence in our lives. Give us the fruit of your spirit that enables us to live as pure hearts! May others see in us peace and joy and thanksgiving and kindness and gentleness and self control, and may they seek that same Spirit! Lord,  we want to be women that are living a life of purpose and making a difference, and we ask that you renew our minds and our hearts, so that we may be a reflection of you.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus!!! Amen

He Can Change Your Heart!

Good morning, sweet friends!

I hope you are still following me on my mission through Acts. I know that some of you may be missing our becoming the women daily encouragement that we usually share, but we are almost through the book of Acts, and I promise we will return to living our calling…..and for the moment, Acts is our calling:) So I pray you embrace it!!! On to Chapter 16….What spoke to me was this little verse hidden amidst the missions of the disciples……

“The Lord Opened Her Heart to respond to Paul’s message.” Acts 16:14

He opened her heart:) Lydia was a worshiper of God, and Paul approached her to speak the message of Jesus Christ, and it says the Lord opened her heart to receive the message. I loved  this…..he can open our hearts and the hearts of others to receive the message!! This speaks so much to me…….First, have you ever needed God to do a work on someone’s heart to receive what you were about to tell them?? I don’t know about you, but I am guilty of spending endless hours imagining various scenarios and picking the perfect words before the conversation even begins, praying that the other person would receive my words, but very rarely have I stopped to say….God, would you open to their heart to receive this!!

Second, have you needed Him to open the heart of someone you love to receive the message of salvation???  I heard a preacher from Celebration Church in Florida a few months ago that told us that he was a bouncer at a bar on the LSU campus, when one day he hit is knees and was forever changed, and he claimed it was all because of the endless prayers of his aunt that changed his heart!!! Yes, He can do that too!!

Lastly, what really spoke to me was from my own personal experience! I once did a Beth Moore bible study where she told us to pray for a heart to love Him above all things!!! She said we must pray for Him to change our hearts, because it was nothing we could do in our own strength……we weren’t capable. So, I prayed for God to change my heart, and He did!!! It changed my life, and it is the reason I am even writing you today. I desire it for you too!!

So, sweet friends, find encouragement today that He can change your heart, and more importantly……. He wants to!! Seek this week to stop before you speak, and ask Him to tender the hearts before you. Let your knees get calloused praying for those loved ones knowing that He can change their hearts too!!! He says the greatest commandment is to love Him with all of our heart,  so it is in His will that every single one of us receive a heart for His!!!

Dear Heavenly Father,

We give you thanks and praise this morning for the work that you are doing that we have seen, and the mighty works that you are doing that we have not yet seen. We lift our hearts to you praying that you change it and mold it into a heart that loves you above all things!! We also lift up the hearts of those that we love that have fallen from your will, and we pray that you will change their hearts! Lord, we pray that you create in them a desire to  know and love you! Lord, this world desperately needs to see your face and your works, and we pray that you use us as vessels of your love and grace and mercy to all in our paths.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus!!! Amen
A WOMAN LIVING HER CALLING IS PREPARED AS HIS BRIDE!!
Love you, sweet friends!!! May God bless your work, your children, your marriages,  and your homes this day and through this week.

Are You Pure in Heart?

Good morning, sweet friends!
Continuing on our journey through Acts, we are now on Chapter 15, and today is one that I hope brings a little bit of freedom to your soul!!

Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? Acts 15:10

This seemed to be a hot topic for us on Sunday……Are we truly living worthy to be called to the wedding feast as the Bride of Christ? We know that we have all fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but the question became……at what point have we fallen away from our inheritance as Children of God??? I think many of us are being convicted right now of seeking to remove sin from our lives, which goes perfectly with the message of the harvest is ripe, because part of the harvest in Matthew 13 is the pulling of the weeds of sin from the harvest. It is once we are convicted of the sin in our lives that we are able to address and repent from it, and thus remove it. It is also the removal of sin that allows the righteous to shine forth His glory!! In this chapter of Acts, we find the Pharisees seeking to make the Gentiles adhere to the Jewish laws to receive salvation, but the disciples agree that it was not the intent that they should take on a yoke that could not be fulfilled even by those trained in the law. They wanted the gentiles to be encouraged, and to see the grace found in Jesus, not yoked to rules and rituals! This is by no means a free pass to sin,  but it gave me a little peace knowing that we aren’t expected to live the law perfectly.

After our discussion on Sunday, I have continued to seek guidance to this question, because as we look at verses like Mark 9:47 that claims if your eye causes you to sin you should pluck it out, because it is better to enter the kingdom with one eye than not at all, one could easily be consumed with fear!!! Most of us would begin questioning our salvation, and we know that even in our best efforts today as Christians, we still fall short of the lives of the apostles that chose a life of suffering to spread the message of Jesus Christ. What I felt He spoke to me, and I found confirmation in this chapter was this……..the key is your heart! I first thought of David….A man after God’s on heart! We know he “messed” up, and we know that he led a far from righteous life at times, but his heart was seeking God! Then, as I was reading this chapter, I found that confirmation with verse 8 that says God who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving them the Holy Spirit.

I want you to pray over what God is speaking to you, but what He said to me was this
…..I know your heart!!! We are all going to fall short and  Proverbs 24:16 says that even a righteous man falls short seven times a day. Yes, we have been saved by grace, but it is that grace that saved us from the enslavement of sin not the entitlement to live in it.  If our heart is seeking His heart as David was and as the Gentiles were during this mission of Paul and Barnabus, then we are going to seek to remove sin from our lives, and He will know this because He sees our heart! Someone that has a heart for God, is not going to be comfortable living in sin nor or they going to desire to, and that conviction that you may be feeling right now may simply be God seeking to remove the weeds from His harvest. Those willing to surrender to the weed pulling will according to Matthew shine like the sun!!! I guess the question here is not so much……. at what point have you fallen from your inheritance,
but are you living out of a pure heart!!!! He said in Matthew 5:8

Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God!!!!
Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you this morning in the name of Jesus giving you all the praise and glory for all that you have planned for us this day!!! May we surrender at this moment to your will and your pruning!! Give us the desire to remove the sin from our lives. Give us an infectious passion to follow your ways, and equip us to harvest people for your Kingdom!
Lord, purify our hearts so that we are always seeking you first! We know that a gift of your Spirit is faith, and right now we ask for a double portion of Faith. We seek the Faith that prays prayers that are answered, and that enables us to step out for your Kingdom! May you pour the gift of Faith upon each of us!!
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus!!! Amen

What do you really believe?

Good morning, sweet friends!

I am venturing to be bold again today, so buckle up;)  I feel much like Peter and Paul when they asked to be given boldness to speak, and so I pray you receive this,  because I have been consumed with such urgency to reach you!!! First, we are catching up the last few chapters of Acts that took us through the weekend and have now arrived at Chapter 14. My thought trying to look over all of these chapters together is this…….
What do you really believe???

I ask this question, because as we are traveling through these chapters in Acts, we see that it is full of the supernatural!!!  Just a few points to ponder…….
Peter has this vision that led him to the gentiles. His Spirit told him to go to with three men to Cornelius. The men tell him an angel appeared to Cornelius, and told him to send for Peter. They baptize Cornelius by water and the Holy Spirit. Then Peter is put in prison, and an angel is sent to release him. Herod is then struck down by an angel to death. We then go to the journey of Barnabas and Saul/Paul, and it speaks to them worshiping, fasting and being filled with the Holy Spirit. They blind a sorcerer, and heal a crippled man just speaking to him. And the crescendo of Chapter 14 happens as Paul is thought to be stoned to death and drug out of the city……but the disciples gather around him, and he gets back up and walks back into the city. Yes, supernatural!!!! Supernatural!!! Supernatural!!!

In these chapters, we see visions, filling of the Spirit, miracles, angels, constant fasting, prayer, and worshiping. We see one released from prison and one from death, and another struck down with death. My question is this…….Why is it that we read the Bible, the book of truth, and we don’t see these events strange, but quite consistent with the entire Bible, yet many would think one was crazy today if he/she mentioned a vision, or a healing, or heaven forbid an angel???? So many are afraid of the Spirit, yet it is the greatest gift of the believers in Christ! Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom (2 Cor 3:17).

James 5 says that when someone is sick that we should call in the elders, anoint them with oil, and pray, and the prayers of the righteous would make a sick man well, and I can not tell you how many people we have offered this to……many plagued with cancer and all claiming to be Christians, but yet they say something like…..we aren’t in to all of that “or “pray from a distance. This is the thing my friends, and someone mentioned this at church Sunday….the Bible is not a menu where you get to pick and choose what you believe. It says the truth will set you free! And the truth says the Spirit is freedom, and we have seen an entire book of supernatural, yet we live in the mundane fearing or trying to quench those that try to live with the Spirit????

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and for those who really believethat the Bible is the inherent word of God,  you must believe that He can do the supernatural today just as He did thousands of years ago.  The greater question might be….Why wouldn’t you want to believe ?? Could you use a miracle in your life???  Do you need a mighty Savior??? I think of Peter when he began walking on water to Jesus, and then when he realized what he was doing and doubt crept in….he began to sink!!!Sweet Friends, I believe that our fear/doubt has quenched the Spirit and the supernatural that is a fruit of His Spirit, and I believe it is time to step out in faith and become

water walkers!!!!! I ask you….What do you really believe???
Dear Heavenly Father,

May the words of Acts ignite in us a fire to be consumed with your Spirit. May we desire to hear you and follow you, and abide in your presence. Lord, so many of us need a miracle right now, and we pray for our miracle worker to show your face to your people. We need you to save us mostly from ourselves!!! Lord, take our doubt and our fears and replace them with supernatural faith that believes that you can do all things through your people today as you have in the past. We know you are the same yesterday, today and forever, and we pray for your Spirit to fall on your people in a way that it has never before. Make us like Peter, so heavy with your Spirit that others will find your presence even in our shadows, so that none would perish, but all would find your saving Grace!
May we become harvesters for your Kingdom radiating your glory!
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus!!! Amen

A Tribute to All Women

Good Monday, sweet friends!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I know many of you are mothers and many of you have been that mother figure to someone or many through out your journey. My daughter was born on Mother’s Day, and so my weekend was packed speaking to the women of Ocean Springs, MS, entertaining a mess of eleven year-olds:), and preparing for Mother’s Day. I can’t tell you the last time, I slept during the day, but my only wish on Sunday was to do just that!!! Much needed Sabbath rest after a week of preparation and traveling!!! I haven’t awoken in years to words flowing from me, until yesterday, and so I must share it with you.

A Tribute to All Women

Some became mothers by the fruit of their womb,
And others by a heart where love thus did bloom.
Some became mothers as they were molding lives along their way,
And others while proclaiming blessings over lives they did pray.

Some showed motherhood as they offered their hands,
Pouring into to needy souls that thirst in foreign lands.
Some showed a mother’s love as they lit another’s darkened way,
While some opened their hearts and homes for the broken to stay.

Some have been that gentle voice of refuge to those found in storms,
And others have been a home to those needing open arms.
Some have been the encourager to those crying for someone to care
And some have been that whisper of love saying….I’ll  always be there!

Some have sacrificed their time to simply be present to others,
But all share the heart of God-appointed Mothers.

If you are not a mother by the giving of your name,
Please know, dear friend, you have been a mother, just the same!

And we are thankful that all weren’t mothers by womb,
Because we’d have less hands to allow mothers to bloom!

May 13, 2012

I have had such a privilege to meet so many amazing women over my traveling these past few years, and I have often felt lacking as I have met so many that have mentored, and served and traveled abroad to touch lives. I have small children as many of you do, so my schedule doesn’t allow me to leave for weeks to minister to those in foreign lands, or to be present as much as I would like to for others in need.  With this being said, many of you women have been more than a mother to some that needed you desperately!!! You may not even realize how your presence has molded the lives before you, and I just hope this day that you realize that we are all where we are called to be!!! I have said before Bloom Where You Are Planted !!! I pray if you are a mother that you will pour into those little lives as we are called to do in Deuteronomy 6, and I lift you up, because I know it is quite possibly the most difficult job in the world!!! If you are an empty nesting mom, start pouring in to your community and churches or offering your wisdom to those who need support and encouragement! If you were not a mother by womb,  but of heart, be a blessing unto others!!! Please know that there is someone in your community that would be so very blessedby your presence in their lives!!!!

What I also learned yesterday was this…..sometimes we need to rest! He calls us to take a Sabbath Rest, and yesterday was such conviction for me, that when I am resting in Him is when He does His greatest work in me!!! If you are needing rest and refreshing, it may be for a very good reason!!! Often we think it necessary that we stay busy, but it is truly in the retreating with Him that we Hear him!!! There is a time to work for the kingdom and a time to rest in His Love!!!

Tomorrow, we will get back to Acts, so please don’t stop reading. I will meet you on
Chapter 14:)

Dear Heavenly Father,

We praise you for these beautiful women among us! We thank you for giving each of us a special heart…..to show compassion, love and gentleness to those in need. May each of these women find your favor this week, and may they be moved to bring glory to your kingdom! May we be willing to escape this world and seek rest and refuge in your wings, and may you refresh us, recharge us and inspire us to do your will. We are praying in one accord that you come Lord Jesus into our hearts and minds and souls and consume us!!
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus!!! Amen

A WOMAN LIVING HER CALLING IS PREPARED AS HIS BRIDE!!
Love you, sweet friends!!! May God bless your work, your children, your marriages,  and your homes this day and through this week.

The Hand that Changes Everything!

Good morning, my friends!

I was reading through Chapter 9 last night, and though I have read it before, it always gets to me when I read of the conversion of Saul. How amazing that God could touch the very man that was persecuting Christians, and lead him to be one of the greatest biblical writers of the new covenant. The writings of Paul are my personal favorites!  If you are needing hope, this is a story to take in today. If God can change the heart of Saul, and birth in him the life of Paul, He can certainly change our lives!!!

The really awesome point of this story is that He can even change the lives of those that seem most lost. I have received numerous letters from brokenhearted women over the straying of their children, the crisis in their families, and many that are crying out for God to save their marriages. This story is such a testament that God is in control, and He can change the heart of anyone at any moment He chooses. He can bring your children home, and transform your families, and turn your marriage into a testament of His redemptive power. Our problem, as women, is that we seek to fix things ourselves in our own strength, instead of turning to Him …..the one with the POWER!!!

Sisters, if you are reading this and thinking …...this is my life, stop trying and start praying for them. Pray that He steps in like Saul and touches them so personally that they can’t help but be convicted. Show them love and kindness instead of judgement and condemnation.  Recall Jesus at the well with the woman who felt unworthy to be in His Presence, He didn’t persecute her or judge her but offered her forgiveness and a fresh start.  Could you use a fresh start or does someone you love desperately need it???? May the story of Saul/Paul remind you that we serve a mighty God that can and will change your life, and be full of Hope this day as you await His hand to touch your life!!! Also, note, Paul was given the Holy Spirit, and it was through the indwelling of His Spirit that He would transform our lives with his inspired word!!! If He can use Saul for His Kingdom, He can surely use any of us surrendered to the will of His Spirit!!!

“The Lord has sent me so that you may see again, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again.”
Acts 9:17
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come this day full of HOPE!!! We see your word and we are reminded that you are Elhoim, all powerful God! We know that your desire for us is to dwell in the refuge of your wings and live a life that is full, and we receive that this day!!! Put your hand on our lives, in our families, and marriages…reach out to our lost loved ones, and bring them home!!! Lord, may you remove the scales from our eyes, so that we might see as Paul did….the truth, the way, the power and the love brought through Jesus Christ! May we become a light that lead others to find rest in your wings!!!
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus!!! Amen

What is overshadowing You?

Good morning, my friends!

I don’t know about you, but I am sooooo glad it is Tuesday;) I felt as if I were living the scripture…the enemy sneaks around looking for someone to devour, and yesterday was my day!!! Of course, it always happens for me when I feel God has used me most that the enemy comes full force, so I will celebrate today for the victories we had over the weekend in Dothan, Alabama and Jacksonville, Florida!!! And, I shall do it again…because we know that if we resist the enemy…..he must flee!!! Thank you Lord for assuring us this!!!
So we are journeying through Acts, and because I spent 24 of the 48 hours of the weekend in a car, I am a little behind with my sharing, and I will catch up, but for today I must stop at Chapter 5, because boy how I loved Chapter 5!!!
Did you notice in verse 15 and 16 what was happening??? The presence of the Spirit was so heavy on Peter that the people fled to the streets laying all the sick and demon possessed in hopes that Peter’s shadow would fall upon them and they would be healed….and they were!! Isn’t this amazing???? The presence was so heavy that his shadow offered healing!! I once heard a pastor say that you will shadow whatever is overshadowing you. That is certainly one to ponder today. What is overshadowing you? If you are allowing the darkness of doubt, despair, worry overshadow you then you can believe those who are near you feel it. If you are finding refuge in His wings, then your presence will be a light and others will feel it too, and our prayer would be that they would even desire it!!!
I have been praying for a fresh outpouring of the Spirit, and this is biblical, as we discussed last week Peter and John asked for it to fall, so they could speak boldly and they did!!! I am praying today that the Spirit falls so heavily on us that others feel it in our presence….in our shadow, and they seek it! We become His light that this dark world so desperately needs!!!! I love this quote by Marianne Williamson.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of your precious son, Jesus, we cry out for you to come!!! Come redeem and restore and refresh your people!! Let your presence fall so heavily on us that our shadows heal others and lead them to your light. May we be that light you have called us to be in this dark world. You have given us authority over the principalities of this earth, and you said that if we resist him, he must flee, so we ask that you give us the ability to resist him, and in the name of Jesus, we command him to flee!!! May we continue finding refuge in your wings and celebrate the love only found when we rest in you! In your precious name, Jesus. Amen

Love you, sweet friends!!! May God bless your work, your children, your marriages,  and your homes this day and through this week.

Anything but Ordinary

 Good morning, sweet friends,

I have to say that my burden is light today, because I have enlisted so many prayer warriors that you can rest assured that you are being covered in prayer!!  I don’t usually write on Saturday mornings, but since I missed yesterday traveling to my event today, I decided to check in;)

I hope you are continuing your journey through Acts. For those of you who are just joining in, I encourage you to go back to our original challenge on Tuesday to fully understand this mission on which we have embarked . We are walking through the book of Acts for two main reasons: 1) Pentecost is near, and with the book of Acts holding the events surrounding and following Pentecost, it helps us prepare for May 27th…. A celebration of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit  2.) We must be in His Word….all of us!!  Walking through Acts together allows you to see how it speaks to you, as I share how it is speaking to me. The more you are in His Word, the more it will speak to you!  The word of God is alive and active and should speak to all of us in a fresh way with each encounter. I promise, when it really starts speaking, it will become your addiction:)

So we are at Acts 4 today, and I am wondering what it said to you??? Like, Acts 2, It spoke volumes to me….too much to share within this little space, so I’ll focus on the two things that spoke most to me. First, verse 13

“When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished….”

I love how it makes note that they were unschooled, ordinary men. We are not expected to be scholars, pastors or priest to be His disciples. The most powerful testimonies come from those broken that saw the true power of God’s hand in their redemption. If you are thinking not me…..I have nothing to offer…..remember Peter who was out with “the boys” fishing when in a moment, Jesus calls him to be a fisher of men. Please know that when you are surrendered to His Plan your life becomes anything but ordinary!!!

Secondly, verse 29-30 shows us how Peter and John called to the Lord and asked that they
be enabled to speak His word out in boldness, and that He would stretch out His hand and perform miracles. And I love verse 31….

“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and the spoke the word of God boldly.

I love this because it says………Yes, even John and Peter his disciples needed boldness. Yes, they had to ask for it. Yes, He answered their prayer!  Yes, He filled them with the Spirit that would enable them to proclaim His word boldly and to perform miracles. It is confirmation that our desire, at this moment, is in line with His will…..He wants us to call out to Him asking for boldness to profess His word and perform miracles in His name, so that He may be glorified and the number added to His Kingdom. May we pray boldly for Him to reveal Himself to us in a fresh and powerful way as we prepare for the anniversary of the day that He did this very thing!!!

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you this Saturday morning with humble hearts seeking to become less as you become more. Manifest your spirit in our lives!!! Lord, we are asking that you consider the threats of our enemy and enable us to proclaim your word boldly, stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of Jesus! Prepare our hearts as we await your coming! Awaken the hearts of those who have yet to experience you, so that they may turn to you and be healed! Lord, may you confirm to every woman reading this message that you have great plans for her, and that she is anything but ordinary when surrendered to your plan and will. Redeem, Refresh and Equip us to bring glory to your Name!!! We love you and praise you, and give you thanks!!!
In the Precious Name of Jesus, we offer these prayers, Amen!

A WOMAN LIVING HER CALLING IS PREPARED AS HIS BRIDE!!

Love you, sweet friends!!! May God bless your work, your children, your marriages,  and your homes this day and through this week.

Are Your Ripe?

 Good morning, sweet friends,

Where do I begin today…….my heart is heavy? We are on the second chapter of Acts, and it could almost consume an entire bible study…..so much to ponder. I will tell you that since I wrote on Tuesday about my heart being heavy with the message the harvest is ripe, I have found mentors who have received the same message, as well, as dear friends calling with articles speaking to this need to get prepared and be in prayer for this upcoming Pentecost. With this in mind, my heart is burdened with such a need to purify and pray!

So why the burdening of my heart?????  Follow me……
If we look at Acts 2, we see that the harvest two-thousand years ago on the day of Pentecost was a harvest of people. The miracles and signs and outpouring of the Holy Spirit led three-thousand people to baptism proclaiming Jesus as their Savior. Yes, what a day that would be if the Spirit poured out upon us just as that day, where people heard the word and believed, miracles happened right before our eyes, and Spiritual gifts were freely dispersed. Can you even imagine seeing the blind regain sight, the lame walk, the diseased healed right before you? Can you??? We should be praying that it comes like a flood that can not be quenched or contained, especially as we approach the anniversary of such an event!!! This land and our people need the Holy Spirit now more than ever!!!

However, we should also be aware and ponder the book of Matthew Chapter 13 when speaking of a harvest. It is in this chapter where Jesus speaks to the parable of the weeds and the harvest, but this harvest, unlike the Pentecost, is not an outpouring, but rather the preparation for the harvest of His people.  It is……. the end of age. The Great Harvest is this time when He removes the weeds(sin and evil one), cast them to death, and the righteous shine like the sun in the kingdom of their father  (Matt 13:24-43). It is the coming of the Kingdom!!! While this is a Glorious Day for the “Bride”, how could your heart not ache knowing others would perish??? Even deeper…..are you prepared as His “Bride”?

What has gotten hold of me these last few days, in exploring more about this message, is the thought of how differently I would live if I knew that the
Great Harvest was upon us!
Do you feel the same?

Mark 13:32 tells us …..

“No person knows when that day or time will be. The Son and the angels in heaven don’t know when that day or time will be. Only the Father knows.”
So, why do we live as if we have all the time in the world????

If you thought you had one day, or one month, or six months or two years, you would surely live differently??? Would you seek to reach out  more to others? Would you find a way to forgive and mend?? Would you make an effort to show love to your children and family? Would you pass up baseball and dance, and spend time teaching your children His truth? Would you put down the laundry and pick up a storybook? Would you care less about the perfect dress or flawless skin, and more about purifying your heart? Would you stop your routine to visit with those you love?  Would you stop investing in retirement and insurance, and invest in your soul? Would you trade in technology for being more in unity with His creation? For those of you single women or men;), would you feel less alone and more chosen to be the bride of Christ (Psalm 4:3)???

Many believe that a harvest is coming, but regardless,
we should prepare, as if, today is the day!

Dear Heavenly Father,
I lift up all that are reading this message, their families and their loved ones. May you open their eyes to see you, ears to hear you and hearts to love you! May you supernatural exchange their hearts for ones that seek you above all things. Lord, change us all to reflect your image. Make us your hands and feet to those in need. Give us words to speak to those who need comfort and give us the courage to stand up for what we believe. Lord, we pray desperately for your anointing to pour out on the this land and your people.  We comes to our knees… hands open wide to receive!!!
In Your Precious Name, Amen!

A WOMAN LIVING HER CALLING IS PREPARED AS HIS BRIDE!!
Love you, sweet friends!!! May God bless your work, your children, your marriages,  and your homes this day and through this week.

He Knows Your Heart

 Good morning, sweet friends,

First, if you didn’t read Tuesday’s Challenge, please read it first, so that you will understand this journey that we have embarked on.  I hope some of you took a moment of quiet time to read last night through Acts 1 or will at least seek to do that sometime today. It is so important that you open His Word, and the let it speak to you personally. As you read, and read slowly, what makes you stop, what causes you to think, what nudges you with a little conviction??? The more you feel His Word speaking, the more you will desire to be in it!! This is a promise;)  So, as I read Acts 1, what spoke first to me was the text surrounding the need to replace Judas’s position with the disciples. Verse 24 says,
“Lord you know everyone’s heart.”

Some of you maybe thinking….thank the Lord, you know my heart and don’t focus on my past actions, while others may feel that nudge of conviction…..what does my heart reveal???
So, what does your heart reveal? This is the time to take a genuine examination of your heart and ask those tough questions and listen for those words that He may reveal….is He telling you that you are still holding on to rejection, abandonment, or betrayal or maybe you are
withholding forgiveness, or love, or service. According to Luke, our words reveal the state of our heart…

The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart
his mouth speaks.

Hmmm…..what  does this say??? It says that our words are powerful to reveal our hearts condition. I pray that you will pull out a journal, and ask Him to give you those words that you  desperately need to hear…..those areas that you  desperately need to heal and desperately need to release!! Pour out your heart to Him, and ask Him to replace it with a new heart.  A heart that loves Him above all things with a love that covers all of these conditions.

My second thought was this…..when they needed to make a decision, they prayed!!! My challenge would be that you make no decisions going forward without prayer,
and even better, ask others to pray with you and for you as you pray for them. There is wisdom in the counsel of believers. (Proverbs 15:22)
May we seek to have His heart living in His will!!!

Dear Heavenly Father,
We call on you this day asking that you reveal our hearts! Lord, we seek to be purified from all emotions that are not of you…bitterness, envy, jealousy, abandonment, rejection, anger, and betrayal. We seek to open our hearts to the outpouring of love and peace and forgiveness unto others, just as you did. May we seek each day to become less as you become  more, and we anxiously await the outpouring of your Spirit. We give you our hopes and dreams and plans, and we seek your guidance on all matters. Lord, let us not operate in our own strength, but seek you first on all decisions that lay before us. May we trust that your plans are always greater than our plans, and may we rest in that trust. We praise you and thank you for what you have given, and we seek desperately to know you more!!!
In Your Precious Name, Amen!

A WOMAN LIVING HER CALLING HAS A PURE HEART!!
Love you, sweet friends!!! May God bless your work, your children, your marriages,  and your homes this day and through this week.
